  • Paris main airport Charles de Gaulle applying social distancing rules and measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Some airports in Europe have reopened using a so called flying corridor allowing those countries in which the outbreak seems to be in control to flying again. Flights being unfrequent have additional stopovers and overlays. As the UK government announces a travel corridor with a number of countries, airports have reopened with a series of security and health measures. Nonetheless, scheduled flights have long stopovers and layovers to allow more passengers onto the them.

  • This photo belongs to a series that documents the life of Hawa, a mother of a 10 years old autistic child. This story highlights the pressure that women like Hawa are constantly under; being carers and seeing precious support curtailed through increasing cuts.   Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdowns have been particularly difficult. I took this photo on one of my visits to Hawa. She was explaining to her son, each step he had to take to complete his homework. <br />
"Having an autistic child with autism needs is challenging because of the endless extra things you need to prepare yourself and your child for. Caring for an autist child requires constant caring and this obligation does never end. What is very difficult is having no respite and a space to be oneself. During the lockdown, without the support I clung on was very difficult and often I  felt physically and mentally exhausted" - Hawa.
