The choice is between register in a refugee camp and wait in a limbo for your turn to cross a border (usually months and years) or avoid being registered and hide. I travelled along the border of Serbia and Croatia, where many refugees live in disused and abandoned structures or hiding in wood areas. They keep on moving for fear of being caught by police.
