When the news of lockdown measures were out, I felt relief and oppression at the same time. Finally, I did not have to be anxious of my alcoholic husband with whom I had began divorce proceedings, coming home from being in a pub potentially putting me and our girls at risk of catching Covid-19. Oppression because I was facing days of endure hours of days and night with an alcoholic person and no way out.
